The at: project Ambassador Network is a community of neighbors, businesses, and organizations who believe everyone deserves safety, support, and the opportunity to thrive. Our Ambassadors are not traditional volunteers. They are community members who have simply said:
As an Ambassador, you’ll receive occasional opportunities to support survivors of human trafficking and strengthen services throughout Central Oregon. You choose when and how you want to help. There is no minimum time commitment.
Every need is different. Depending on your interests, skills, and availability, you might:
Local businesses and organizations can join the network and respond to opportunities that fit what they do.
A coffee shop might donate coffee for a training.
A florist might provide flowers for a survivor celebration.
A landlord might let us know about an available apartment.
A local business might host a donation drive or share resources with its employees and customers.
Small contributions from local businesses can make a meaningful difference.
1. Sign up.
Complete our short Ambassador form and tell us a little about yourself, your skills, and how you might like to help.
3. Watch for opportunities.
When a need comes up that may be a good fit, we’ll send an Action Alert with the details. You can decide whether you’re available to help.
2. Get connected.
After signing up, you’ll receive a brief orientation email about the at: project, confidentiality, trauma-informed language, and what Ambassadors can expect.
4. Help in a way that works for you.
There is no minimum commitment. Say yes when you can, and pass when you can’t.
Are you concerned someone is experiencing sex or labor trafficking or exploitation? Do you want to talk to an advocate about your questions or concerns?
